Wound Packing
Deep wounds in the neck, armpit, or groin where a tourniquet can't reach.

Find the bleeding vessel inside the wound.
Open the wound with gloved fingers if needed.
Never
- — Never pack a chest or abdominal cavity wound
- — Never pull packing out to look
Evacuate now if
- — All packed wounds need surgical care
- — Blood soaks through despite repacking
